John Freestone is co-ordinating this event and will meet you between 18.30 & 19.00hrs in the entrance - just after you pay ( will block entrance if meet before you pay). You pay entrance fee plus price for glass which is refundable if you do not want to keep the glass. Can you confirm by phone or text by the day before with John so he knows who to expect please.

Beer, ciders, some food available plus opportunity to get together and try some different brews. John as a CAMRA member is very knowledgeable about the brews and always happy to help choose something suiting your taste buds. If you've never been before then try this out.

Wednesday, 10 April 2019 Banff Film Festival Nottingham Playhouse Cinema

A group of us have booked tickets for the above, if anyone is interested in joining us you can book via the link below & let us know you are coming. Time permitting after work we will meet for a short drink or coffee in the Playhouse cafe before the performance. Banff films tour the UK during spring of each year showing several short outdoor films of extreme climbing, skiing biking etc and are exciting viewing. Cost of tickets is 15 each & at time of writing there are about 100 of 400 tickets unsold so make your mind up quickly!

Saturday, 6 July 2019 Summer Social Baslow Village Hall Walk/Meal
Start: 10:30am
This is our Summer walking and get together event based on the successful feedback from last years event, great food, the great flexibility offered by the Hall facilities and the lovely walking in this area. Thankyou everyone for making last years event so good.
It will follow the same format - long, medium and short walks available - finishing around 5pm with sharing food and drink that all fellow walkers have brought with them plus a raffle.
As before please bring some food or drink that you are happy to share with others. Would you provide a label for your food please. Tea/coffee/milk will be available all day. The Hall has crockery and some serving equipment & pots and pans. You can bring a deckchair or outdoor blanket for use in the garden if you wish.

This is a ticket only event. Tickets will be 3 each and are available from committee members or by bank transfer. If you are using the bank transfer method can you confirm your name and that you are purchasing Baslow tickets so we can reserve you a ticket to give to you on the day - this makes sure you will be part of the raffle.
