Route: Alstonfield, walk to Wetton, Ecton Hill, Manifold Valley, Wetton Mill cafe stop for lunch (approx 6 miles), Thor's Cave, Wetton, then back to Alstonfield. The George Pub is available for a drinks at the end.

Route: Barton, Dunstall Estate, Tatenhill (pub/toilet), Branston Water Park, Barton Marina (pub). Finishing around 3pm.
Dogs must be kept on a lead on Dunstall estate.
Following the walk, a table has been booked (4pm) at the 'Waterfront' pub on the marina for anyone who would like to join us for our recent marriage get-together meal. Please let us know in advance.

Meet at St Lawrence church at the 'Well House'in Gotham NG11 0HX but please do not park near the church as this is reserved for parishioners, park on Main Rd or Kegworth Rd.
There is no toilet stop at start of walk and no pub or coffee shops on the walk so please bring own packed lunch.
Can be muddy after rain, some ascents, see the famous 'Cuckoo Bush'and WW2 relics.
On a clear day the'Heights of Abrahams' Matlock can be seen.
Dogs on a lead as livestock in some fields.

From Ringinglow we will be using a taxi company to take us approx 6 miles to Redmires/Hallam Moors car park, cost average £3.50 to £4 each.
Route: From Redmires/Hallam Moors car park we will walk on alternative paths to Flask End in Low Bradfield where their is a Cafe, Village shop and Post Office http://www.flaskend.co.uk/. Start: At the car park in Hathersage beside the swimming pool.
This is one of our more challenging longer walk. It is for those who would like to push themselves, enjoy a varied route with changing scenery and walk at a good pace over longer sections.
Please ensure that you have suitable clothing and equipment for changeable weather conditions, have food and drink, head-torch, boots, poles etc.
Route: Owler Tor, on to Longshaw Estate, stop for wc/drink, then continue to White Edge. We will walk onto Big Moor visiting the stone circles and across Ramsley Moor to the Saxon cross for a planned stop in the woods.
Returning back via Baslow, Curbar and Froggatts Edge's, dropping down to Grindleford, Coppice Wood and returning to Hathersage along the river.

This walk was on the program late last year and an alternative route was chosen on the day due to adverse weather conditions. Hopefully the weather conditions will be good this time for this stunning walk to take place.

Challenging Walk of 18 + miles, depending on weather conditions. This is mostly open country, with some of the best scenery in the Peak District. There are some rough tracks, no shelter from hot sun or rain so please be well equipped and carry enough food and drink for the day.

For the annual summer gathering we have a new venue of Baslow Village Hall as a change from the previous Black Rocks picnic event. The format will include both long and short circular walks, returning to the Hall to share food, relax and chat together. As before you are invited to bring food to share. The Hall has toilets, kitchen, tables and chairs. This includes the facilities to heat food and make hot drinks. There is also a garden area and up to 20 free car parking spaces in addition to some free on road parking spaces. The tickets will be £5 per person to cover the cost of hiring the Hall plus sundries, i.e. tea, coffee, milk. There is also the opportunity to win a raffle prize using the number on your ticket. Tickets are available from Bob & Heather at walking events. More details of times, walks and food arrangements to follow.

Route: Win Hill, Hope Cross, Ringing Roger, Nether Tor, Upper Tor, Crowden Tower, Pym Chair, Edale Cross, Brown Knoll, Rushup Edge, Mam Tor, Back Tor, Loose Hill, Hope.
Please note: The walk is only suitable for experienced walkers, there is little or no shelter on route and no amenities whatsoever. Ample food and drink will need to be carried, as well as waterproofs, good footwear and sunscreen and a hat is recommended.
