This magnificent National Trust country house is set in 60 acres of its own grounds and boast spectacular views across the Peak District– you might not want to leave the site!
The cost will be approximately £58 if 40 people book or £46 if 50 people book and includes Saturday night’s bed, Saturday night meal, Sunday breakfast and packed lunch.
Non-refundable deposit of £20 required before 13th Feb 2020 following to confirm booking. Final payment due 1st August 2020.
Unfortunately, only people booked into the hostel will be able to attend the walks.
Dogs not allowed on this event…sorry!
Plan to offer a long and short walk on Saturday and a short walk on Sunday. Details to be confirmed.
There is a licenced bar and prices are reasonable (e.g. bottle of wine £6)
The Menu is limited to curry only, although they are able to provide other dietary requirements such as gluten-free. An example menu will be sent out in early October. If you want to arrange to eat locally, that isn’t a problem, although the price will remain the same for everyone.
There are 70 beds arranged in 3 x 2, 1 x 3, 5 x 4, 3 x 6, 1 x 7 and 2 x 8 bedrooms. All bed linen is provided but you will have to bring your own towels. There is central heating throughout. (Please state your room preference, but it may not possible to grant all wishes)

The dining room comfortably sits up to 55 people. As we have sole use of the hostel, self-catering is not an option for evening meals.
The television lounge seats up to 15 people on comfy sofas and extra seating from the dining area can be brought in. There is also a large common room with seating for at least 35 people – this is a perfect area to play some games!
Wi-Fi is available at this property which is free of charge for guests to use.
There is space on site for up to 25 cars.
